I’m building my “personal financial infrastructure,” which I’ll post here soon but in the mean time this is a good article to check out. I think tracking / budgeting is most important because it really shows you how easy it is to waste your money.

  1. I think not paying yourself first should be at the top of this list. At times I’ve been disgusted with myself seeing what I was spending my money on. This is a great article.

  2. My favorite money books have been ‘Millionaire Next Door’ and ‘The Millionaire Mind’ both by Stanley and Danko. Also, I’m reading Ben Stein’s ‘Yes You Can Get a Financial Life’ and that seems to have lots of good long-term advice.
